Frequently asked questions

This is a tinted nourishing lip oil that moisturises, adds a sheer peachy-pink colour, and gives lips a glossy, healthy-looking finish. The base is a blend of seven plant oils — jojoba, rosehip, argan, meadowfoam, apricot kernel, sunflower, and olive — which soften and condition. Honey and milk protein extract add a light nourishing layer. Unlike the Mint variant, there is no menthol — the experience is entirely warm, soft, and scented rather than cooling.

It adds visible colour. The formula contains Red 27, Red 22 Lake, and Yellow 5 Lake pigments, which produce a sheer peachy-pink tint on the lips. It is not an opaque colour — it enhances and warms your natural lip tone rather than covering it — but the difference is noticeable, especially on lighter skin tones. Think of it as a sheer, buildable flush of peach-pink rather than a clear gloss. This makes it a genuine hybrid between a lip oil and a tinted lip treatment.

Same oil base, same nourishing formula — two entirely different experiences. The Mint version is clear (near-colourless) with a cooling menthol sensation, suited to anyone who wants invisible hydration with a refreshing effect. The Peach version has visible peachy-pink pigmentation and a warm, fruity scent with no cooling sensation. Peach is the better choice for those who want a hint of natural colour and warmth; Mint is the better choice for those who want the sensation of fresh, plumped lips without any tint.

Natural. The pigmentation level is sheer enough that most people would read it as enhanced natural lip colour rather than applied product. The peachy-pink warmth it adds is flattering on a wide range of skin tones — it is closer to the effect of a sheer tinted balm than a lip stain or lipstick. The glossy finish does add noticeable shine, which some prefer to wear alone and others find too much for a bare-faced day. That is the main variable — the colour itself reads naturally.

Yes — layering this on top of a lip tint or matte lipstick adds shine and a hint of peachy warmth over the base colour. Because the peach pigment in this oil is sheer, it will slightly warm or shift cooler toned lip colours toward a more peachy finish. If you are wearing a true red or deep berry lip, the shift is minimal. If you are wearing a nude or pink, the peach warmth will be more visible. It works beautifully as a finishing gloss over any nude-to-pink lip look.

Yes to daily use. For mask-wearing: the oil formula will transfer onto a face mask more than a matte balm would, which is worth knowing if you wear a medical or fabric mask regularly. The oil does not disappear quickly once on lips, and there is a moderate amount of transfer. If mask transfer bothers you, apply after removing the mask rather than before putting it on. As a daily gloss for non-mask situations, it is lightweight, comfortable, and re-applies easily throughout the day.

Moderately. The scent comes from both Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract and Fragrance/Parfum in the formula. The peach note is pleasant and distinctly fruity on application, but it fades within a few minutes of wear — it does not linger at the intensity of a perfume. For those who are fragrance-sensitive, note that the formula also contains fragrance allergens (limonene, linalool, citronellol, citral are likely present as in the Mint variant based on shared base). The scent is a sensory highlight, not a persistent fragrance.
