Why I started Beauty Bar
When I started Beauty Bar in 2021, Korean skincare in Georgia meant a handful of random products, marked up, with no one to tell you what any of it actually did. I'd spent years abroad — in auditing, where the whole job is refusing to take a claim at face value — and I brought that same instinct to skincare. I didn't want to sell whatever was easy to import. I wanted to build the place I wished existed: the widest, most carefully chosen K-beauty selection in the country, with people behind the counter who could actually help you find what your skin needs.
That's still the whole idea. Every brand we carry, I've looked at closely. Every product earns its place. And in both our stores — Tbilisi and Batumi — you'll find someone who knows the difference between an essence and an emulsion, and who'll tell you honestly if something isn't right for you.

Everything we sell is 100% original, brought directly from Korea. No grey-market imports, no "inspired by," no guessing where it came from. When you buy a Farmstay ampoule or a Medi-Peel serum from us, it's the real thing — the same product, formulated the same way, as it sits on a shelf in Seoul.
That matters more than it should have to. The K-beauty boom brought a flood of counterfeits, and it's easy to end up with a convincing fake that does nothing — or worse. We built our catalogue so you never have to wonder. If it's on our shelf, we stand behind it.
