An air-light velvet tint that lays down full, even colour in one swipe and settles to a soft matte that stays comfortable through the day. Two muted shades — a warm dusty rose and a cool wintry mauve.

Frequently asked questions

Two shades are available: A23 Vintage Sunset, a warm-toned dusty rose or muted terracotta-pink that reads as soft and vintage-inspired rather than bright, and A26 Winter Moon, a cooler-toned mauve or berry-leaning shade with a more subdued, wintry quality. A23 suits warmer and golden undertones; A26 works well on cool and neutral complexions. They are distinct in mood — one warm and earthy, one cool and quiet.

The finish is velvety-matte — a soft, diffused effect that sits between flat matte and satin. Once the formula sets, it creates a smooth, slightly powdery surface that looks refined in person and photographs cleanly. It is not glossy or reflective. The texture is described as airy, meaning it dries down without the heavy, film-like feeling that some liquid lipsticks leave. Both shades in this collection share the same formula and finish.

They share the same Air Fit Velvet formula and finish but occupy different colour territory. A28 Mango Tulip Garden (Tint 6) is a vivid, bright coral-orange — warm and energetic. A23 Vintage Sunset (Tint 5) is softer and more muted — a dusty, toned-down warmth closer to a vintage rose or faded terracotta. If you want brightness and pop, A28. If you want warmth that reads understated and wearable every day, A23 is the better choice.

A26 Winter Moon is well-suited to everyday wear. Mauve and cool berry shades have broad wearability — they complement neutral and cool-toned skin without looking dramatic in daylight, but have enough depth to carry into evening without a touch-up. They also tend to be flattering on a wide range of lip tones because the cool, desaturated quality balances pigmentation differences. It is not a statement colour but a reliable, versatile one.

The formula contains moisturising ingredients that help prevent the dryness and tightness common with matte textures, so on normal lips it is comfortable without preparation. On noticeably dry or flaky lips, applying a thin layer of lip balm, waiting for it to absorb fully, and then gently removing any excess before applying the tint will significantly improve both the evenness of application and the wear time. Velvet formulas adhere better to a smooth surface.

The simplest guide is your skin's undertone. If your veins look more greenish and you tan easily, you likely have warm undertones — A23 Vintage Sunset will harmonise naturally. If your veins look more bluish-purple and you burn before you tan, you likely have cool undertones — A26 Winter Moon will be more flattering. If you're genuinely unsure, A26 Winter Moon is the safer default: mauve shades are widely flattering and forgiving across a broader range of complexions than warm dusty roses.

Apply from the doe-foot applicator, starting at the centre of the lips and blending outward. One pass gives full coverage; for a softer, blurred look, blot lightly with a fingertip before the formula sets. For a crisp edge, outline with a matching lip liner first. Avoid pressing the lips together repeatedly as it dries, which can disturb the even velvet surface.
