Frequently asked questions

Take out the exfoliating pad and place it against the heel, then wrap the protective cloth over it and secure with the label. Wash your hands afterwards. Leave on for about 60 minutes, then remove and rinse your feet with warm water. Use on clean, dry feet.

The peeling effect isn't immediate. It typically begins three to five days after use, when the softened top layer of hard skin starts to shed on its own. How much comes away depends on how thick the callused areas were. Don't pick or force the skin — let it shed naturally.

It's a fruit-acid foot peel, so it's designed for the tough skin of the heels, not delicate areas. Keep it to the heels, don't use it on broken, cracked-open or irritated skin, and avoid other foot scrubs while the peeling is happening. If irritation occurs, rinse off and stop use.

If the skin is dry and hard but intact, yes. If your heels are cracked open with broken skin, wait until they've healed before using an acid peel, as the acids can sting and irritate open areas. For maintenance between peels, a rich foot cream helps keep heels comfortable.

Wait until one peeling cycle has fully finished — usually one to two weeks — before repeating. Over-using acid peels can leave feet feeling raw and sensitive. Most people find an occasional treatment, rather than a frequent one, keeps heels looking smooth without overdoing it.

It's best to relax with the pads on rather than walk around, as the pad and cloth need to stay in place against the heel for the hour. Set aside quiet time, keep your feet still, and avoid putting on socks or shoes until you've rinsed off.

It has a fragranced formula with a minty note from peppermint and menthol, which gives a cooling feel. If you're sensitive to fragrance, keep that in mind. The scent is part of the experience rather than overpowering, and it rinses away with your feet afterwards.
