Frequently asked questions

It's a single-use powder scrub — each box holds 25 pre-portioned 7g sachets. You work one sachet into a light foam with water and massage it in to physically buff away dead skin, lift excess oil, and loosen the debris that clogs pores, leaving skin smoother, cleaner and brighter.

Two components do the work: baking powder (sodium bicarbonate), a fine alkaline powder that dissolves excess sebum and lifts surface grime from pores, and gentle scrub particles that slough off dead skin. The added collagen acts as a conditioning agent, helping skin feel soft and smooth after rinsing rather than tight.

Use one 7g sachet per application. After cleansing, spread a small amount onto damp skin and massage gently in circular motions, keeping it away from the eye area, then rinse off with warm water. Follow with toner and moisturiser, since freshly exfoliated skin absorbs hydration especially well.

It's marketed as gentle enough for all skin types and regular use. But because it's a physical scrub on an alkaline base, very sensitive, dry or breakout-prone skin can find it too stripping — use a light touch, less often, and skip it entirely on active, inflamed acne or broken skin.

They do a similar job differently. This scrub buffs the surface manually for instant smoothness and a deep-cleaned feel — satisfying and great for oily, congested skin. Chemical exfoliants like AHA and BHA work invisibly inside pores and suit sensitive or acne-prone skin better. Many people use a scrub occasionally and acids more regularly.

It's made for exactly that. The baking powder cuts through the oil and buildup that make pores look enlarged, while the scrub texture clears away the dead skin and debris sitting around blackheads. It works best on oily and combination skin, especially through the T-zone, leaving pores visibly cleaner.

For most people, two to three times a week is plenty. Physical scrubs feel tempting to use daily, but over-scrubbing can irritate skin and weaken its barrier. Oily skin can handle the higher end; dry or sensitive skin should stay closer to once a week. Let how your skin reacts guide you.
