Frequently asked questions

After cleansing, tear open a sachet and apply a small amount to damp skin. Massage gently in circular motions for around 30 seconds, avoiding the eye area, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with your toner and moisturiser. One sachet holds enough for a single full-face use.

For most skin, once or twice a week is enough. Physical scrubs work by buffing the surface, so there's no benefit to overdoing it — daily scrubbing can leave skin feeling tight or looking irritated. If your skin is on the sensitive side, start with once a week and see how it feels.

Only a little, because it's rinsed off. Sodium hyaluronate adds slip and a moment of moisture, but a leave-on toner or serum is what really hydrates. The salicylic, lactic and lactobionic acids sit low in the formula, so the exfoliation here is mainly physical, from the baking-powder grit. The result is smoother, clearer-looking skin.

It suits normal, combination and oily skin, and works especially well on skin that gets congested or looks dull between deeper cleanses. Because it's a physical scrub with a baking-powder base, very dry or sensitive skin may find it too much — a gentle acid or enzyme exfoliant is usually kinder for those skin types.

The baking-powder base gives the fine, gentle grit that buffs away dead skin and loosens the build-up that clogs pores. Used a couple of times a week and rinsed off, it's fine for most skin. Just don't scrub hard or use it daily — let the product do the work with a light touch.

It can help pores look clearer. Buffing the surface lifts away dead skin and the oil and debris that make pores look larger, while tea tree and a little salicylic acid support blemish-prone, congested skin. It won't permanently shrink pores — nothing does — but regular gentle use keeps them looking cleaner and fresher.

Each sachet holds one full-face use, which keeps the scrub fresh and hygienic and makes it easy to travel with. You can buy a single sachet to try it, or a 25-piece box for regular use. There's no jar to scoop from, so you're not dipping into the same pot with damp fingers each time.
