Tea Tree extract at 105ppm (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Extract) is a functional concentration in a rinse-free cleansing context. Tea Tree's key active compounds — terpinen-4-ol in particular — have well-documented antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. In a daily cleanser it helps manage acne-causing bacteria on the skin's surface, reduces redness, and controls excess sebum without the dryness that comes from undiluted tea tree oil.
