Medi-Peel Peptide 9 Eye Lifting Patches Anti-Aging Hydrogel for Puffy Eyes & Wrinkles

Hydrogel eye patches with Peptide 9 reduce puffiness, firm skin, and restore brightness around the eyes. Visible results after the first use.

Medi-Peel Peptide 9 Volume Lifting Eye Patch Pro offers a targeted anti-aging solution for the delicate eye area.

These hydrogel patches deeply hydrate, reduce puffiness, and deliver a visible lifting effect while smoothing out fine lines.

Infused with 9 types of peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, and hyaluronic acid, the formula helps restore skin elasticity, improve tone, and strengthen the skin barrier.

To use, apply patches under the eyes on clean skin, leave on for 20-30 minutes, then gently remove. Suitable for daily use or as part of an intensive skincare routine.

Choose Peptide 9 Eye Patches from Medi-Peel for a youthful, refreshed look, visibly firmer skin, and smoother under-eye texture.

Frequently asked questions

These are hydrogel eye patches formulated for the under-eye area, targeting wrinkles, fine lines, puffiness, dark circles, and loss of firmness. The formula is built around nine primary peptides, six forms of hyaluronic acid, Volufiline (Anemarrhena Root Extract — a clinically evidenced volumising ingredient), Adenosine, Niacinamide, Hydrolyzed Collagen, and Hydrolyzed Elastin. The patches work for anyone from their late 20s onward who wants an intensive, targeted under-eye treatment with both immediate and cumulative anti-ageing results.

The nine primary peptides are: Copper Tripeptide-1 — collagen and elastin stimulation, skin repair; Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) — muscle-relaxant, smooths expression lines; Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 (Matrixyl) — collagen synthesis; Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 — firmness and collagen support; Hexapeptide-9 — collagen production and regeneration; Nonapeptide-1 — brightening via tyrosinase inhibition (targets dark circles); Oligopeptide-6 — skin repair and regeneration; Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate (Syn-Ake®) at 511ppb — mimics snake venom's muscle-relaxing effect to soften expression lines with regular use.

Volufiline is a patented ingredient by Sederma, derived from Anemarrhena Asphodeloides Root Extract and standardised for an active compound called sarsasapogenin. Clinical studies by the manufacturer show it stimulates lipogenesis — the formation of new fat cells in the subcutaneous layer — creating a volumising and plumping effect from below the skin surface. In an eye patch, this mechanism specifically targets the hollowing and loss of volume under the eye that creates the sunken, tired appearance associated with ageing. It is one of the few eye-area ingredients with a plausible mechanism for volume restoration rather than just surface hydration.

Two peptides target under-eye puffiness through specific mechanisms. Dipeptide-2 improves lymphatic drainage around the eye area, reducing fluid accumulation that causes morning puffiness. Acetyltetrapeptide-5 targets capillary permeability — it strengthens the fragile blood vessel walls under the thin eye skin, reducing the micro-leakage that contributes to dark circles. Nonapeptide-1 addresses pigmentation-related dark circles through tyrosinase inhibition. Niacinamide further supports brightening and reduces the appearance of vascular discolouration. The Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (licorice-derived) component also contributes anti-inflammatory soothing that reduces redness-related darkness.

This is an intentional delivery mechanism rather than a sign of product degradation. The hydrogel is a water-rich polymer matrix that holds the active ingredients in suspension. As the patch sits against skin, moisture from the gel migrates into the skin through osmotic pressure — the skin's surface draws in the water and the actives dissolved in it. As the water content decreases, the gel becomes thinner and more transparent. When the patch is near-transparent, most of the water-soluble actives have been delivered. Removing at the 20–30 minute mark captures optimal delivery time without the patch drying out completely and becoming difficult to remove.

With one caveat. The formula contains Fragrance — listed at the tail of the INCI — which is the main caution flag for the sensitive eye area, where fragrance is more likely to cause irritation than on body skin. The base is otherwise well-suited to sensitive skin: no alcohol, no parabens, no sulphates, and the active layer (Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Ectoin) provides significant soothing support. For anyone with fragrance sensitivity or who has experienced stinging from scented eye products before, patch testing on the inner arm is advisable before first use on the eye area.

After cleansing, apply toner. Use the included hygiene spatula to remove each patch from the tray — do not handle with bare fingers as this transfers warmth and bacteria. Apply the patch to the under-eye area, ensuring full contact with the skin. Leave on for 20–30 minutes. Remove gently — the gel will have thinned considerably — and pat the remaining essence into the skin rather than wiping it away. Apply your eye cream or moisturiser immediately after to seal in the delivered actives. Use daily for best cumulative results from the peptide complex, or 2–3 times per week as a targeted treatment.
