Frequently asked questions

Pure Bed Linen is a soft, powdery fragrance built around the scent of freshly laundered linen. Its top notes open with orange and anise, the heart develops through rose, violet, orchid, and lily, and it settles into a warm base of musk, sandalwood, vanilla, and powder. The overall effect is clean, calm, and quietly comforting — not sweet, not sharp.

As a body mist rather than a perfume or eau de toilette, the MISSHA Dare Body Mist typically lasts 2–4 hours on skin. Longevity improves noticeably when applied directly after showering onto slightly damp skin, or layered over an unscented body lotion, which gives the fragrance molecules more surface area to hold onto.

Hold the bottle 20–30 cm from the skin and spray onto pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbows, and behind the knees — as well as across the body after showering. For a subtler effect, you can mist it lightly onto hair or clothing. Avoid spraying directly on the face. Reapply throughout the day as needed.

The confirmed INCI is: Alcohol Denat., Water, Fragrance, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Butylene Glycol, BHT, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene. The base is alcohol-forward, as is standard in body mists, with the fragrance blend carrying the scent profile.

The formula contains several common fragrance allergens declared on the INCI — including linalool, geraniol, citronellol, coumarin, and limonene — which are standard components of any scented product. People with fragrance-sensitive or reactive skin should patch test before full use, or choose an unscented body mist alternative. For most skin types, occasional use is fine.

Body mists contain a lower concentration of fragrance oil (typically 1–3%) compared to eau de toilette (5–15%) or perfume (15–30%), making them lighter, more affordable, and better suited for all-over application. They're the practical choice for daily use, gym bags, and reapplication through the day — whereas perfume is applied more sparingly to pulse points.

Yes. Pure Bed Linen works well as a standalone daily scent or as a base layer under a complementary perfume. For the best layering result, apply an unscented body lotion first, then the mist, then perfume on pulse points. The linen-musk base of Pure Bed Linen is clean and neutral enough to pair with most floral or woody fragrances without clashing.
