Farmstay Hyaluronic Acid Water Tox Tone-Up Sun Cream – Hydration, Protection & Radiance

Farmstay Hyaluronic Acid Water Tox Tone-Up Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ is a multifunctional sunscreen that delivers high-level UV protection, deep hydration, and a natural brightening effect.

Infused with Hyaluronic Acid, it helps maintain moisture levels and keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day. The subtle tone-up effect instantly enhances skin radiance and creates a smoother, more even-looking complexion.

Its lightweight texture absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feel or heavy white cast, making it ideal for everyday wear and as a makeup base.

Suitable for all skin types, especially dehydrated, dull, and uneven-looking skin.

How to use: Apply as the final step of your skincare routine. Reapply every 2–3 hours during prolonged sun exposure.

Frequently asked questions

It's a hybrid sunscreen that does three things at once: delivers SPF50+ PA++++ UV protection, provides a subtle brightening tone-up effect that evens out the complexion instantly, and includes moisturising ingredients to keep skin from feeling dry during wear. It's designed as both a standalone final skincare step and a makeup base for everyday use.

SPF50+ blocks approximately 98% of UVB rays (the ones that cause burning and skin damage). PA++++ is the highest PA rating in the Korean system and indicates very high protection against UVA rays, which penetrate deeper and cause long-term ageing and pigmentation. For Georgia's sun exposure — including Tbilisi summers and Batumi's coastal UV intensity — SPF50+ PA++++ is the right choice for daily face protection.

It's a hybrid formula combining both types. The chemical filters are Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (avobenzone), Ethylhexyl Salicylate, and Octocrylene, which together cover both UVB and UVA wavelengths. Titanium Dioxide provides the physical filter component and contributes to the tone-up brightening effect. This combination allows for a lighter texture than a purely physical sunscreen.

Minimal. The formula uses Titanium Dioxide as a physical filter, which in most sunscreens creates a noticeable white cast — but here it's offset by CI 42090 (a blue pigment) that neutralises the yellow tones in skin, creating the tone-up brightening effect instead. The result is a slight brightening rather than a grey or white finish. On very deep skin tones it may still appear slightly light; patch testing on the jawline is a good idea before committing to full-face use.

Honestly — the hyaluronic acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) is present at 0.1ppm, which is a trace concentration that contributes minimally to hydration. The "Water Tox" name refers more to the product's fresh, watery texture than to intensive moisture delivery. That said, the formula does include meaningful hydrating ingredients: Propanediol, Squalane, Panthenol, and a Xylityl glucoside complex that do provide real moisture. It's a hydrating sunscreen — just not primarily because of the hyaluronic acid.

Apply it as the very last step of your morning skincare routine — after toner, serum, and moisturiser, immediately before makeup if you're wearing any. Use approximately a half-teaspoon amount for the face to achieve the labelled SPF50+ protection; using less reduces the actual protection level. For prolonged outdoor exposure — time at a terrace, beach, or commuting on foot — reapply every 2–3 hours. Indoors near windows, once in the morning is sufficient.

Yes, and it's well suited to this. The tone-up effect from Titanium Dioxide and the blue pigment creates an even, slightly brightened base that helps foundation apply more smoothly and last longer. The silicone component (Dimethicone) also blurs pores and creates a smoother skin surface. Allow it to settle for 60–90 seconds after application before applying makeup on top to avoid pilling.
